Carson City, NV (April 22, 2022) – A man was traumatically injured in a workplace accident that took place in Carson City on Friday afternoon, April 22.
According to Carson City officials, the accident happened around 2 p.m. at a business on Mallory Way. An unidentified male employee was working at a conveyor belt when his arm suddenly became stuck inside the machinery due to reasons that are not fully known. He was trapped and had to be helped out of the machinery.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. They found the employee in and out of consciousness when they arrived. He was rushed to the hospital by medical helicopter with traumatic injuries. However, his current condition is not yet known.
It is not known if any part of the workplace was shut down for the day after the incident.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
