Carson City, NV (December 9, 2020) – Around 4 p.m. on Monday afternoon, December 7, one person was injured in a hit-and-run car accident in Carson City.
According to the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, the accident took place when two vehicles collided with each other at 3500 Northgate Lane. Following the collision, a male and a female in one of the vehicles fled the scene on foot.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash. One person who was in the other vehicle sustained injuries as a result of the accident. They were taken to the hospital for treatment, though their condition is not yet known.
Due to the severity of the crash, traffic was diverted in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
