Carson City, NV (February 2, 2021) – Around 4:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, January 30, a pedestrian crash with injuries occurred in Carson City.

Few details have been released but police confirmed that the accident took place on South Roop Street near Little Lane. Police stated that a pedestrian was walking across the street when they were struck by a passenger vehicle traveling in the area.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the crash. The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, received a hand injury as a result of the accident. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for a period of time. Motorists were told to seek alternate routes for some time.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
