Carson City, NV (April 22, 2021) – Around 1:40 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, April 21, a rollover accident happened in Carson City.

According to the Carson City Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened at 2100 East William Street near Gold Dust West. Two vehicles collided in the area due to unknown reasons, causing one of the vehicles to roll over.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help. One person was trapped in their vehicle but was able to get out but only suffered from minor injuries. One other individual was evaluated at the scene for minor injuries. The two victims are expected to be okay.

The roadway was blocked in several lanes until police were able to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
