Carson City, NV (November 4, 2022) – Around 7:38 p.m. on Tuesday evening, November 1, a serious motorcycle accident took place at an intersection in Carson City.
According to Carson City officials, the accident happened at the intersection of College Parkway and Otha Street. Police confirmed that a motorcycle and a pickup truck were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with one another. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been formally identified, was taken to a trauma center in Reno for treatment of severe leg injuries. Nobody else was hurt in the crash.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the road was blocked and police re-routed traffic for some time.
