Carson City, NV (July 16, 2021) – At 1:40 p.m. on Friday, July 16, a serious car crash with injuries occurred in Carson City.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Carson Street and College Parkway. Two or more vehicles were allegedly traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those with injuries. One person had minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital for treatment. Another individual received injuries and was found bleeding from the mouth and was taken to the hospital. The victims are expected to be okay.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time. Motorists traveling in the area were urged to seek alternate routes and use caution.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
