5/6 Sparks, NV – Three-Vehicle Collision on I-80 Leads to Injuries

Carson City, NV (November 10, 2020) – Around 5 p.m. on Monday evening, November 9, two people were injured in a Carson City rollover accident.

According to Carson City Sheriff’s deputies and the Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident involved one vehicle and took place in the southbound lanes of I-580. Police confirmed that the driver lost control of their vehicle, causing it to roll over near the North Carson exit.

Both the driver of the vehicle and one passenger, who have not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital by ambulance. A third person in the vehicle was not injured.

Due to the severity of the crash, traffic was blocked in the area for some time. This led to extensive delays.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
