Carson City, NV (November 15, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision that took place on a highway in Carson City on the morning of Tuesday, November 15.

According to Carson City Police Department officials, the accident happened around 11:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-580 around the area of Lakeview Hill. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling on the highway in the area when they collided with one another due to reasons that are not entirely known. This caused damages to both vehicles, which had to be towed from the scene.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. EMS crews were seen assisting those with injuries in the area. It is not known if the parties were hospitalized or what their conditions were.

The roadway was blocked in several lanes of traffic for some time as police worked to clear debris from the scene. This led to delays until the scene was fully cleared.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
