Gardnerville, NV (September 11, 2020) – Around 1 p.m. today, September 11, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Gardnerville.
According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of Highway 395 and Waterloo Lane when two vehicles collided with one another. It is believed that the two vehicles drove into the intersection at the exact time, causing a forceful collision with each other. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result.
Numerous emergency responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were present at the scene of the accident. EMS crews assisted those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not yet known.
Police confirmed that the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time while they cleared lanes.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues at this time.
