Reno, NV (March 5, 2021) – Around 12:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon, March 5, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Reno.

According to the Reno Police Department, the accident happened on Kietzke Lane around the intersection with Vassar Street. The driver of a Jeep allegedly pulled out of the nearby McDonald’s parking lot, where it collided with a pickup truck. Both of the vehicles sustained heavy damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. One or more victims sustained minor injuries.

All northbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a short period of time.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
