Reno, NV (June 15, 2021) – At 7 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, June 12, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Reno.
According to the Reno Police Department, the collision happened at the intersection of West Moana Lane and Lymbery Street. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided after entering the intersection at the same time. One of the vehicles immediately rolled over. The vehicles involved in the collision were extensively damaged.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Three people inside the rolled vehicle had to be extricated by fire crews. The victims were all hospitalized, as well as the driver of the other vehicle. He has since been identified as 42-year-old Robert Harmer.
Harmer has since been charged with DUI and reckless driving. He is also believed to have been speeding at the time of the crash.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
