6/10 Carson City, NV – Car Accident at Fairview Dr & S Carson St Intersection

Reno, NV (November 9, 2020) – Around 5:40 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Reno.

Reno Police confirmed that the accident took place when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Damonte Ranch Parkway and Double R. Boulevard. Police did not confirm the circumstances that led up to the collision.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. One occupant was trapped inside their vehicle and had to be freed from their vehicle.

The victim who was freed from their vehicle was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. The extent of their injuries is not entirely known.

Police found through early investigations that one of the involved vehicles was attempting to make a left turn at the intersection, slamming into the other vehicle.

Police continue their investigation into the accident.
