4/8 Verdi, NV – Multi-Vehicle Collision with Injuries in EB Lanes of I-80

Reno, NV (November 2, 2020) – Around 8:15 p.m. on Friday night, October 30, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Reno.

According to the Reno Police Department, the collision occurred at the intersection of McCarran Boulevard and Sierra Highlands Drive. A minivan was driving out of a local shopping center when it made a left turn onto McCarran. The van collided with an SUV that was traveling through the area at the time.

One victim was injured as a result of the accident. Police did not say which vehicle the victim was in but they were hospitalized with a head injury. The victim is expected to recover.

The roadway was closed down in the area until approximately 10 p.m.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
