Reno, NV (December 14, 2020) – Around 7:30 a.m. in the morning of Monday, December 14, a fatal accident took place at an intersection in Reno.

According to the Reno Police Department, the accident took place at the intersection of White Lakes Parkway and Crystal Canyon Boulevard. For reasons that are not yet known, a school bus and a passenger vehicle collided with each other.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash. The driver of the passenger vehicle was severely injured and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Numerous occupants inside the bus, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.

The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
