Reno, NV – Fatal Motorcycle Accident Takes One Life on I-80

Sparks, NV - One Hospitalized After Motorcycle Accident at 900 Glendale Ave

Reno, NV (October 13, 2020) – Around 6:15 a.m. on Sunday morning, October 11, a fatal motorcycle accident took place on a highway in Reno.

The accident took place when a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck and went underneath the vehicle for reasons that are not yet known in the westbound lanes of I-80.

Paramedics and fire crews were present at the scene of the accident. One person was pronounced dead at the scene and another was taken to the hospital by medical helicopter. The driver of the passenger vehicle remained at the scene of the crash.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, all lanes of traffic were closed for an extended period of time. The lanes reopened within hours.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
