Reno, NV (December 2, 2020) – Reno Police confirmed that a hit-and-run pedestrian accident took place on a major roadway in Reno.

Around 9:30 p.m. on Monday night, November 29, an unidentified 32-year-old man was crossing Kietzke Lane when he was suddenly struck by a vehicle. Police confirmed that the vehicle was a metallic blue SUV. They have not yet found the driver responsible for the accident but believe that the vehicle has front-end damage.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but is expected to be okay.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
