Reno, NV (September 22, 2022) – Police responded to the scene of a car accident that took place on a highway in Reno on Thursday morning, September 22.
According to Reno Police Department officials, the accident happened around 11:19 a.m. When police arrived at the scene, they found that several vehicles collided with each other at 9155 Double Diamond Parkway due to reasons that are not entirely known. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged as a result of the crash.
Several local responders, including Reno fire crews and paramedics, were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were hurt as a result of the crash. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were rushed to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes of traffic for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues at this time. Police will update with more information as it is available.
