Reno, NV (August 17, 2021) – At 7:33 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, August 17, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a major highway in Reno.
According to the Reno Police Department, the accident happened on US-395 around the area of the California state line. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged due to the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt in the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes of traffic, which led to delays in the area.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
