Reno, NV – One Injured in Pedestrian Accident on W 5th St

Reno, NV (November 6, 2020) – Around 5:35 p.m. on Wednesday evening, November 4, one person was injured in a pedestrian accident in Reno.

According to authorities, the collision took place when the pedestrian was crossing West 5th Street around the area of West and Arlington. It is not known if the responsible driver remained at the scene of the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. The injured pedestrian was taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries but is expected to make a full recovery.

The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision continues.
