Reno, NV (July 20, 2021) – On Tuesday morning, July 20, one person was seriously injured in a rollover accident on a highway in Reno.
According to the Reno Police Department, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-80 around the area of Mogul. Two or more vehicles were traveling together in the area when they collided with each other, causing one of the vehicles to violently overturn. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the rolled vehicle, who has not yet been identified, was seriously injured in the collision. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, numerous lanes of traffic were blocked in the area until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
