Reno, NV (November 5, 2020) – Around 6 p.m. on Wednesday evening, November 3, a serious pedestrian accident with injuries occurred in Reno.
Reno Police confirmed that the accident occurred on 2nd Street when a pedestrian was crossing the street and was suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle. The driver remained at the scene and police determined that they were driving intoxicated at the time of the crash.
The pedestrian, identified only as a local adult female, was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. Her current condition is not yet known.
The roadway was closed in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
