Pedestrian Accidents in Nevada
Pedestrians are some of the most severe accidents that occur on our roads. This is due to the fact that pedestrians have no protection from harm in the event of an accident. In 2018, it was reported that there were approximately 79 pedestrian fatalities throughout the state of Nevada. This was actually a decrease from 2017, when there were 91 fatalities. Unfortunately, no state is completely free from these horrific accidents that alter lives in the blink of an eye. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to the roads around them so that pedestrian accidents can be prevented. However, these accidents still happen due to many reasons, including the following:
- Distracted driving
- Drunk or drugged driving
- Fatigued driving
