Reno, NV (July 7, 2021) – On Wednesday afternoon, July 7, a truck accident with injuries occurred on a roadway in Reno.
According to the Reno Police Department, the accident happened on Mill Street in the area of Louise Street. A passenger vehicle was traveling in the area when it collided with an eastbound firetruck near the intersection.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One person in the passenger vehicle, who has not yet been identified, was injured and taken to the hospital. The victim is expected to be okay.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes as police worked to clear the scene.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation into the accident.
