Sparks, NV (October 7, 2020) – Around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening, October 6, a fatal motorcycle accident took place in Sparks.
Sparks Police confirmed that the collision occurred at the intersection of Oddie Boulevard and Sullivan Lane when a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle entered the intersection at the same time.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. The driver of the passenger vehicle remained at the scene and did not have injuries. The motorcyclist was critically injured and taken to the hospital where they passed away as a result of their injuries.
The motorcyclist was identified only as a 24-year-old man.
The intersection was blocked for approximately three hours as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
