Sparks, NV (November 22, 2021) – Around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, November 20, a head-on collision occurred on a roadway in Sparks.
According to Sparks Police, the accident happened at 5300 South Los Altos. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when one of the drivers suddenly lost control. Their vehicle went over the center line of traffic, where it collided head-on with another vehicle. The vehicles were both left with extensive damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The identities and conditions of those involved are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in both directions for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
