Sparks, NV (November 30, 2020) – Around 3 p.m. on Monday afternoon, November 30, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Sparks.

According to police, the accident took place when multiple vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of I-80 close to the area o McCarran Boulevard. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not entirely known.

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for some time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision continues.
