Sparks, NV (December 7, 2020) – On Monday, a man was killed in a fatal hit-and-run accident that took place on a major roadway in Sparks.

According to Reno Police, the accident took place on Kietzke Lane near the area of Galletti Way. A vehicle struck 32-year-old Cody Robinson from Reno when it was driving in the area and Robinson was crossing the road. The vehicle then fled the scene of the accident.

Police have said that the vehicle responsible for the accident was a metallic blue SUV that now has front-end damage as a result of the accident.

The pedestrian was the only person injured as a result of the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The roadway was blocked in the area until police were able to clear the scene.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision continues.
