Carson City, NV (December 16, 2021) – At 8:35 p.m. on the night of Wednesday, December 15, a pedestrian accident occurred at a Carson City intersection.
According to Carson City officials, the accident happened at the intersection of North Carson Street and College Parkway. A pedestrian was walking in the area when they started to cross the street at the intersection. At the same time, they were struck by a passenger vehicle traveling through the intersection.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The injured pedestrian was rushed to Renown Medical Center for treatment of severe injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
