Carson City, NV (October 4, 2021) – At 7:30 a.m. on the morning of Monday, October 4, a serious car accident with injuries occurred in Carson City.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident happened on US-395 around the area of Plymouth Drive. Several vehicles were traveling in the northbound lanes of traffic when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One person was seriously injured as a result of the accident. They were taken to Renown Hospital but their condition is not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in all northbound lanes of traffic for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
