Carson City, NV (September 25, 2020) – Around 3 p.m. on Friday, September 25, a two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Carson City.
According to police, the collision occurred at the intersection of Fairview Street and Carson Street when two vehicles collided with each other in a construction zone. Police are not sure of the circumstances that led to the accident but the vehicles involved were severely damaged as a result.
Paramedics and fire crews were present at the scene of the crash. One person was taken to the hospital with a neck injury but is expected to be okay.
The roadway was closed down in the area for some time. Police urged motorists to use an alternate route for some time until they were able to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
