Elko, NV (November 27, 2020) – Around 4:27 p.m. on Friday afternoon, November 27, a car accident took place at an intersection in Elko.
According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of Lamoille Highway and Corral Lane when two vehicles collided with each other. The vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, which caused them to collide with each other. The vehicles involved were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
