Fernley, NV (November 13, 2020) – Around 3:51 p.m. on Friday afternoon, November 13, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Fernley.

Though few details have been released regarding the accident, it is believed that the collision took place when multiple vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of I-80. The crash happened around the area of the local Flying J and led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The roadway was blocked around the area of the accident for some time.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
