Reno, NV (June 9, 2022) – Around 10 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, June 8, a man was critically injured in a workplace accident in Reno.

According to Reno Police, the accident happened at the Krone North America workplace at 1190 Trademark Drive. Police confirmed that a male worker was unloading equipment at a loading dock when equipment on top of a pallet fell on top of him. He became trapped under the equipment as a result of the accident.

Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The worker, who has not yet been identified, was freed by fire crews, but it took them approximately two hours to do so. He was rushed to the hospital by medical helicopter for treatment of his critical injuries.

The workplace was closed down in the area of the accident until the scene was cleared.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
