5/25 Fallon, NV – One Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Schurz Hwy

Reno, NV (October 21, 2020) – Around 6:30 p.m. on Monday night, October 19, a motorcycle crash took place at a Reno intersection.

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the accident was a hit-and-run that took place at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Pembroke Drive. Police confirmed that a vehicle attempted to turn at the intersection when it collided with a motorcycle head-on. The vehicle then continued onward and left the scene of the crash.

A witness followed the suspect vehicle and an officer was able to arrest the driver near the Grand Sierra Resort.

The motorcyclist, who was not identified, was the only person who was injured. They were taken to the hospital for treatment but they are expected to be okay.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
