Reno, NV (March 4, 2021) – Around 9:51 p.m. on Wednesday night, March 3, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Reno.

According to the Reno Police Department, the accident took place in the northbound lanes of I-580 near South Virginia when multiple vehicles collided with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were left with severe damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. Multiple victims were injured and hospitalized for treatment.

The roadway was blocked in the area, which led to extensive delays until police cleared the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
