Reno, NV (March 3, 2021) – At 9:51 a.m. on Wednesday morning, March 3, a multi-vehicle crash took place in Reno.

According to officials, the accident took place in the eastbound lanes of I-80 around the area of IR-580. It is believed that multiple vehicles collided after one or more lost control in the area. This led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
