Reno, NV (September 15, 2020) – Early Tuesday morning, September 15, one person was killed in a fatal car accident on a Reno highway.
Few details have been released but police confirmed that the collision took place on NV-431 (Mt. Rose Highway) around the area of Douglas Fir Drive and Sunridge Drive at 2 a.m. Police did not say how many vehicles were involved or how many victims were injured.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Due to the severity of the collision, the highway was shut down in the area for some time until the police were able to clear the roadway.
No further details have been released but the investigation is currently ongoing.
