Spanish Springs, NV (September 30, 2020) – Around 7 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, September 29, a car crash with injuries occurred in Spanish Springs.
The accident, according to police, took place at the intersection of Pyramid Highway and East Sky Ranch Boulevard when two vehicles forcefully collided after entering the intersection at the same time. The vehicles both had extensive front-end damage, with one of the bumpers ripping off of the vehicle.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to assist those in need. Fire crews extricated multiple people from their vehicles and two of the victims were taken to the hospital with injuries. The extent of their injuries is not entirely known.
The accident blocked multiple lanes of traffic for a period of time. Police confirmed that the accident led to delays in the area and urged those in the area to avoid the intersection.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
