Sparks, NV (April 23, 2021) – On Friday, April 23, a multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred on a highway in Sparks.

According to the Sparks Police Department, the accident happened on I-80 around the area of Virginia Street. Two or more vehicles collided in the area, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
