Sparks, NV (May 25, 2022) – One woman was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following an accident in the Sparks area on Tuesday afternoon, May 24.

Reports provided by the police indicate that a collision between two vehicles occurred on South Rock Boulevard during the afternoon hours. The incident caused delays near the area of Shaber Avenue.

One woman became pinned inside her vehicle and had to be extricated by responding firefighters.

The woman was rendered aid at the scene and transported to a local hospital for further care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
