Carson City, NV – One Injured Motorcycle Accident with Injuries on NV-50

Carson City, NV (August 10, 2021) – At 6:30 p.m. on the evening of Sunday night, August 8, one person was injured in a motorcycle accident in Carson City.

According to Carson City officials, the accident happened on NV-50 around the area of Golf Club Drive. A motorcycle was traveling on the highway in the area when it collided with another vehicle in the area. The rider of the motorcycle was thrown onto the ground as a result of the crash.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was taken to Renown Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area, which led to delays in the eastbound lanes until police were able to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
