Carson City, NV – Pedestrian Accident Involving Store on Stewart St

Carson City, NV (January 15, 2021) – Around 11 a.m. on Friday morning, January 15, a pedestrian accident involving a vehicle in a building took place in Carson City.

According to police, the accident took place when a driver lost control of their vehicle on Stewart Street. The vehicle then continued onward and ran into Sportsman’s Warehouse. As it drove through the store, police confirmed that the vehicle struck five pedestrians.

Paramedics in ambulances and medical helicopters responded to the scene of the accident. Multiple victims sustained injuries, some of which were severe in nature. The conditions of the victims are not yet known.

Stewart Street was completely blocked in the area for some time as police cleared the scene.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision continues.
