Carson City, NV (February 10, 2021) – Around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening, February 9, a pedestrian accident with injuries occurred in Carson City.

According to police, the accident took place on Carson Street in front of the local Denny’s restaurant. Few details have been released but it is believed that a pedestrian was crossing the street when they were struck by a passenger vehicle.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those in need. The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
