Reno, NV (March 17, 2021) – Around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, March 17, a head-on collision took place on a highway in Reno.

According to the Reno Police Department, the accident took place on the Damonte Ranch Parkway around the area of Double R. Boulevard. Two vehicles collided head-on for reasons that are not yet known in the eastbound lanes of the roadway.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital.

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked for a period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
