Reno, NV (October 5, 2020) – Around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, October 2, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident occurred at an intersection in Reno.
The accident, according to police, took place at the intersection of Kietzke Lane and Market Street. Police responded to the scene after they received calls that a man was lying on the roadway.
The man, who has not yet formally been identified, was immediately transported to Renown Regional Medical Center with an array of life-threatening injuries.
Police have said that the man was struck while crossing the intersection but the driver fled the scene. They do not have any information on the make or model of the vehicle involved but are looking for more information.
The investigation into the circumstances of the crash continues.
