Reno, NV (April 26, 2021) – On Sunday evening, April 25, a two-vehicle crash caused serious injuries on a roadway in Reno.

According to the Reno Police Department, the accident happened on South Virginia Street around the intersection of Hubbard Way. A black vehicle was headed north when it failed to yield, causing it to collide with a maroon vehicle. The collision was so forceful that the black vehicle was sent into the local Town Food & Liquor Store.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One person was taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries but they are expected to recover.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
