Silver Springs, NV (January 18, 2021) – Around 11:16 a.m. on Sunday morning, January 17, one person was killed in a fatal accident in Silver Springs.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident happened on US-95 around the area of Quince Avenue. Police did not comment on the exact circumstances of the collision but have said that two or more vehicles collided with each other.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the collision. One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident while one person was taken to the hospital with injuries. Their identities are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, both lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
