Sparks, NV (January 18, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car crash that took place at an intersection in Sparks on Tuesday, January 18.
According to Sparks Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Disc Drive and Pyramid Way around 12:57 p.m. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other Sparks responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
