Motorcycle Accidents in Nevada
Motorcycle accidents are known for being among the most severe accidents that happen on our roads in the state of Nevada every single year. This is due to the fact that motorcyclists have no protection from harm when up against larger vehicles on our roads. Between the years 2014 and 2018, it was reported that approximately 305 people were killed in fatal motorcycle accidents within the state. There are many common reasons for accidents involving motorcycles on our roads, including some of the following:
- Distracted driving such as texting and driving
- Intoxicated driving due to drugs and alcohol
- Falling asleep at the wheel
Though drivers are expected to pay close attention to the roads around them, this does not always occur and accidents still take place in the blink of an eye.
