Sparks, NV – Thomas Schlesinger Killed in Motorcycle Crash on E Prater Way

Sparks, NV (February 9, 2021) – Around 7:30 p.m. on Friday night, a man was killed in a motorcycle crash at an intersection in Sparks.

According to Sparks Police, the accident took place at the intersection of East Prater Way and Sparks Boulevard in a parking lot. A motorcyclist was struck by a driver intentionally in the area. After the driver struck the motorcycle, they got out of their vehicle and fled the scene on foot while the motorcycle caught on fire.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. The driver of the motorcycle, identified as 19-year-old Thomas Schlesinger, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the passenger vehicle, identified as 18-year-old Isiah Norwood, was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, battery with a deadly weapon, and leaving the scene of the accident.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
